Basketball Game Preview: Pewitt Brahmas vs. Rivercrest Rebels

Pewitt is 1-7 against Rivercrest since December of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Brahmas will be playing at home against the Rebels at 7:30 p.m. Pewitt has given up an average of 64.4 points per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Tuesday, Pewitt took a blow against Bowie, falling 70-42.

Meanwhile, Rivercrest came up short against Detroit on Tuesday and fell 62-52.

Pewitt's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Rivercrest, their loss dropped their record down to 1-21.

Pewitt couldn't quite get it done against Rivercrest in their previous matchup back in February of 2025 as they fell 47-35. Can the Brahmas avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
