Volleyball Recap: Academy of Richmond County Beats Davidson Fine Arts for Their Third Straight Win

Academy of Richmond County waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Davidson Fine Arts Titans 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in August.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-12, 25-16.

Kate Dunagan paced Academy of Richmond County's offense, picking up 15 kills. Dunagan got some help from Harper Beckham and her 31 assists. Dunagan and Beckham didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with five apiece.

Academy of Richmond County's victory bumped their record up to 32-3. As for Davidson Fine Arts, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 22-20 record this season.
