Volleyball Recap: Marshfield Comes Up Short

Marshfield was the 3-1 winner over Logan-Rogersville when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bluejays fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The Bluejays have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Marshfield started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 23-25, 19-25, 25-17, 25-20, 15-11.

Quinn Aldridge paced Marshfield's offense, picking up 17 kills. Aldridge got some help from Gracelyn Bull and her 23 assists. Finally, Tilly Greenfield kept Marshfield's defense grounded, leading the team with six blocks.

Marshfield's loss dropped their record down to 25-9-2. As for Logan-Rogersville, they pushed their record up to 25-6-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

As of now, neither Marshfield nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
