Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Middleton). Their defense stepped up to hand the East Bay Indians an 8-0 shutout on Friday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Tigers as it put an end to their ten-game losing streak.

Middleton's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-10. As for East Bay, they dropped their record down to 0-9 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home.

Middleton will challenge Brandon at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for East Bay, they will head out to challenge Chamberlain at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
