Football Game Preview: Hightstown Rams vs. Nottingham Northstars

The Hightstown Rams will face off against the Nottingham Northstars at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Hightstown and six for Nottingham dating back to last season.

Hightstown is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They were beaten by Notre Dame 49-21 on Friday.

Meanwhile, Nottingham had to suffer through a 35-6 loss at the hands of Hopewell Valley Central. While losing is never fun, the Northstars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey football rankings (they are ranked 208th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 87th).

Nottingham's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Hightstown, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Hightstown beat Nottingham 8-0 in their previous meeting back in September of 2024. Will the Rams repeat their success, or do the Northstars have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
