Softball Game Preview: Crooksville Ceramics vs. Ridgewood Generals

The Crooksville Ceramics will challenge the Ridgewood Generals at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Crooksville is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They had just enough and edged out Monroe Central 3-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Ceramics have posted since April 12th.

Elyse Baker spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on three hits and racked up 12 Ks. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 5.4 strikeouts per game.

At the plate, Dalena Rollison was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.
