Preview: Plantation Colonels vs. Nova Titans
Plantation is 0-6 against Nova since December of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Plantation Colonels will be playing in front of their home fans against the Nova Titans at 7:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Last Friday, Plantation took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 84-29 victory over Flanagan. The win made it back-to-back wins for Plantation.
Among those leading the charge was Daterrius Heller, who scored 22 points along with 8 steals and 5 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaylen Clemons, who scored 9 points along with 6 steals and 5 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Nova beat Pompano Beach 69-60 on Friday.
Plantation's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Nova, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
