After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Dorsey, Locke was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Crenshaw Cougars, sneaking past 3-2. The Saints haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Locke took Crenshaw into a fifth set where they got it done with a four-point win. The final score came out to 25-6, 25-9, 22-25, 23-25, 15-11.

The victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 3-4. As for Crenshaw, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Locke and Crenshaw will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matches. The next time the Saints see the court they'll take on Harbor Teacher at 2:00 p.m. on the 21st. As for Crenshaw, their break will end when they face Dymally at 4:30 p.m. on the 21st.
