Basketball Game Preview: Huntington Red Devils vs. Diboll Lumberjacks

Huntington is on a three-game streak of home wins, while Diboll is on a six-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Red Devils will welcome the Lumberjacks at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Huntington will bounce into Tuesday's contest after beating Central Heights, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Red Devils snuck past the Blue Devils with a 39-33 victory on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Diboll posted their closest win since February 4, 2025 on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 36-34 victory over Central Heights.

Huntington's win bumped their record up to 20-11. As for Diboll, their victory bumped their record up to 14-7.

Huntington barely slipped by Diboll in their previous matchup on January 9th, winning 50-49. Will the Red Devils repeat their success, or do the Lumberjacks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
