Recap: River Ridge Wildcats vs. West Carroll Thunder
The River Ridge Wildcats's game last Wednesday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 60-28 victory over West Carroll. That's another feather in the cap for River Ridge, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead River Ridge to victory, but perhaps none more so than Damon Dittmar, who scored 14 points. Tyson Heidenreich was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with six rebounds.
River Ridge's win bumped their record up to 15-12. As for West Carroll, their loss was their 23rd straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-27.
River Ridge and Warren will face off at 11:00 a.m. on February 10th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hopefully River Ridge focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Friday. As for West Carroll, they will be playing at home against Galena at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Galena will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something West Carroll surely won't give up without a fight.
