Volleyball Recap: Mahnomen/Waubun Comes Up Short

It was a Battle of the Birds when Mahnomen/Waubun duked it out with Grygla-Gatzke on Saturday. The Thunderbirds fell 2-0 to the Eagles. The Thunderbirds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Mahnomen/Waubun's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Grygla-Gatzke, they moved to 6-9-1 with that victory, which also ended their four-match losing streak.

Coming up, Mahnomen/Waubun will take on Polk County West [Climax/Fisher] at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Grygla-Gatzke, they will venture away from home to take on Kittson Central at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
