Basketball Recap: Mediapolis Comes Up Short

Mediapolis lost against West Burlington back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Mediapolis Bulldogs fell 76-65 to the West Burlington Falcons. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 110th, while the Falcons are ranked 19th).

Mediapolis' loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for West Burlington, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 12-0.

Mediapolis will challenge Van Buren County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for West Burlington, they will take on Holy Trinity Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in West Burlington's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
