Meanwhile, after soaring to seven goals the game before, Ottawa was a bit more limited in their game on Wednesday. They fell just short of Sycamore by a score of 2-1. Ottawa have struggled against Sycamore recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.

Ottawa's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Rochelle, their victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 6-7.
