Volleyball Recap: Meadow Heights Extends Road Winning Streak to Four

Meadow Heights had won three straight road games and Mandie Kent did her part to make it four on Friday. Everything went the Panthers' way against the Oran Eagles as they made off with a 3-0 win for which the team can thank Kent, who had ten digs and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Meadow Heights never let Oran on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-22, 25-13.

Meadow Heights' victory bumped their record up to 19-7. As for Oran, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Meadow Heights will take on Perryville at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Oran, they will square off against Charleston at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
