Volleyball Game Preview: Schaeffer Academy Lions vs. Lanesboro Burros + How To Watch

Schaeffer Academy is 0-10 against Lanesboro since November of 2020 but things could change on Tuesday. The Lions will challenge the Burros at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Schaeffer Academy lost 3-0 to Houston on Thursday.

While Schaeffer Academy ultimately came up short, they really made Houston work, particularly in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 26-24, 25-22.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Addie Morrisey, who had eight digs, three aces, and one block. Blythe Morgan was another key player, getting ten digs and one assist.

Meanwhile, Lanesboro came up short against Spring Grove on Thursday and fell 3-1. While the Burros didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Lions 25-21 in the first set.

Lanesboro started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-23, 25-22, 25-21.

Lanesboro's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Schaeffer Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-15.

Schaeffer Academy might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Lanesboro when the teams last played on September 4th. Can the Lions avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
