Baseball Recap: Seven Straight Home Wins for Teurlings Catholic

Teurlings Catholic entered their tilt with Vermilion Catholic on Thursday with three consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with four. They were the clear victor by a 10-4 margin over the Vermilion Catholic Eagles. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Rebels have posted since February 10th.

Jace Garber tossed a big game, striking out six batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in strikeouts.

On the hitting side, Will Power was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. He also stole a stolen base, marking his first of the season. Kaden Chavis was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-4.

Teurlings Catholic was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .414. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Teurlings Catholic's win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-1.
