Volleyball Recap: Whiteland Takes a Loss

Whiteland lost against Franklin Central back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Warriors came up short against the Flashes, falling 3-0.

While Whiteland ultimately came up short, they really made Franklin Central work, particularly in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-9, 26-24.

Yuvi Badwal paced Whiteland's offense, picking up six kills. Badwal got some help from Henry Zauk and his 11 assists.

Whiteland's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Franklin Central, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season.

Whiteland has already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against Lawrence North on the 30th. As for Franklin Central, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Center Grove on the 30th.
