Softball Recap: Southern Nash Extends Home Winning Streak to 14

On Thursday Southern Nash's undefeated season almost came to an end. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 1-0 W against the Roanoke Rapids Yellowjackets. The one-run effort marked the Firebirds' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Not much got past ANNA DICKINSON, who gave up just four hits and racked up nine Ks to keep Roanoke Rapids off the board. DICKINSON has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in 14 consecutive appearances.
