Recap: McLane Highlanders vs. Sanger West Hornets
The McLane Highlanders scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They blew past Sanger West 82-55 on the road. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory McLane has posted since November 27, 2023.
James Brown was his usual excellent self, scoring 23 points along with six steals. Isaiah Pamanes was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
McLane has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a massive bump to their 11-7 record this season. As for Sanger West, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-9.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. McLane will square off against Madera South at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Madera South is on a three-game streak of home wins, McLane a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. As for Sanger West, they will head out on the road to face off against Fresno at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
