Volleyball Game Preview: New Hampstead Phoenix vs. Warner Robins Demons

The New Hampstead Phoenix will head out on the road to square off against the Warner Robins Demons at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. New Hampstead is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

On Tuesday, New Hampstead came up short against Liberty County and fell 2-0.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Liberty County scored at least 19 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Warner Robins had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Northside by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday.

Warner Robins easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-18.

Warner Robins' victory bumped their record up to 6-17. As for New Hampstead, their loss dropped their record down to 2-17.

New Hampstead skirted past Warner Robins 2-1 in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Will the Phoenix repeat their success, or do the Demons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
