Volleyball Recap: Christchurch School Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins on the Road + How To Watch

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Christchurch School and Steward have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Monday. The Seahorses came up short against the Spartans, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Seahorses of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

While Christchurch School ultimately came up short, they really made Steward work, particularly in the second set. The final score came out to 25-20, 26-24, 25-19.

Steward found their leader in sophomore Addi Flota, who had nine digs. London Wright also deserves some recognition as she had her first kills of the season.

Christchurch School's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 5-2. As for Steward, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.

Christchurch School has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Catholic on the 17th. As for Steward, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Fredericksburg Christian on the 16th.
