Softball Recap: West York Area Bulldogs vs. Gettysburg Warriors

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Kennard-Dale, West York Area was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 5-2 win over the Gettysburg Warriors. This was payback for the Bulldogs, who suffered a 12-7 loss the last time these two teams met.

Maddie McGlynn spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on seven hits and racked up 14 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than nine strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
