Soccer Recap: Batesburg-Leesville Find Success

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Batesburg-Leesville walked away with it. They had just enough and edged out the Bridges Prep Buccaneers 2-1 on Monday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Batesburg-Leesville as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Gabriel Johnson and Jose Godinez scored both of Batesburg-Leesville's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Batesburg-Leesville's win bumped their record up to 3-11. As for Bridges Prep, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-3.

As of now, neither Batesburg-Leesville nor the Buccaneers have any future games scheduled.
