Midway extended their home winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Ella Clark. The Raiders walked away with a 3-1 win over the Lumberton Pirates on Wednesday with plenty of help from Clark, who had nine digs and four aces. She has been hot for a while, having also posted 12 or more assists the last 44 times she's played.

Midway had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-15, 25-22, 25-13.

Leading Midway to victory were Abbie Beasley and Aubrey Williams. Beasley had 12 digs and two assists, while Williams had nine digs and three aces. That's the most digs Beasley has posted since back in September.

Midway's victory bumped their record up to 13-6. As for Lumberton, the loss snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 15-5 record.

Coming up, after both having extra time off, Midway and Rosewood will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lumberton, they will take on Purnell Swett at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
