D2 District 9 (8 Man) Top Player Performances of the Week

Congratulations to this week's top players! We're covering the best performances from Friday's football action (using all statistics entered as of the time of writing). Enjoy!

Kyle Cox's Big Game Leads Sandhills/Thedford over Mullen

Sandhills/Thedford picked up their 16th consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Kyle Cox. Cox was dynamite, rushing for 206 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 carries, while also throwing for 111 yards and four touchdowns. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his 20th straight game with at least 119 rushing yards dating back to last season.

Mullen's probably not too fond of Cox given he always seems to get the better of them. Cox rushed for 286 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 13.0 yards per carry, and also threw for 78 yards and a touchdown on only six passes the last time he and the Broncos duked it out back in October of 2023.
