After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Warsaw, Sherwood was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Adrian Blackhawks, sneaking past 5-3. This was a revenge game for the Marksmen: when they faced off against the Blackhawks back in April, they had to take a 8-5 defeat.

Sherwood has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-14 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Adrian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season.

Sherwood will challenge Appleton City at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Adrian, they will square off against Crest Ridge at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
