Basketball Recap: Good Samaritan Homeschool Extends Winning Streak to Four

Good Samaritan HomeSchool had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19.3 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They beat the Jackson HomeSchool Victors by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 56-17. The Hornets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Good Samaritan HomeSchool got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was George Fogo out in front who posted ten points along with seven steals and five assists. Carson Spears was another key player, going 9 for 10 en route to 19 points.

Good Samaritan HomeSchool smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 22 consecutive games.

Good Samaritan HomeSchool's victory bumped their record up to 19-3. As for Jackson HomeSchool, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Good Samaritan HomeSchool will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Baytown Christian at 8:00 p.m. on January 30th.
