North Panola won the last time they faced Holly Springs and things went their way on Thursday too. The Cougars blew past the Hawks 38-14. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Cougars just coasted through the last quarter.

North Panola got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Stetson Rayford out in front who rushed for 104 yards and one touchdown on only ten carries. Marco Goings was another key receiver, picking up 86 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

North Panola didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Rod'Kevian Holliday and Jadarious Smoot. North Panola received some extra help from Holliday, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.

North Panola now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Holly Springs, they dropped their record down to 0-10 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, North Panola will challenge Belmont at 7:00 p.m. on November 7. Holly Springs does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
