St. Ignatius College Preparatory's rock-solid pitchers showed up for the team's third consecutive shutout on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Archbishop Mitty Monarchs a 10-0 shutout. This was payback for the Wildcats, who suffered a 6-2 loss the last time these two teams met.

Tycco Giometti looked comfortable as he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out six over four innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April of 2024. DJ Delaney was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one home run, two stolen bases, and four RBI.
