Conway Springs hadn't beaten Douglass on the road since October 21, 2017 but that history sure didn't bother them on Tuesday. The Cardinals walked away with a 2-0 win over the Bulldogs. The victory was familiar territory for the Cardinals, who have now won four matchups in a row.

Conway Springs easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-15.

Conway Springs' win bumped their record up to 17-9. As for Douglass, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-17 record this season.

Conway Springs will head out to challenge Winfield on Saturday. As for Douglass, they will head out on the road to take on Herington at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
