Recap: Trinity Christian vs. The Habersham School Patriots
Trinity Christian lost against The Habersham School Patriots back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Trinity Christian had to suffer through a rough 68-26 loss at the hands of The Habersham School. Trinity Christian was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 57-16.
Trinity Christian's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Garrett Suggs, who scored 10 points. Suggs continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Will Roundtree, who scored 6 points.
The Habersham School's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Hamilton Colley, who scored 18 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which Colley has scored at least 25% of The Habersham School's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Rowland, who scored 16 points.
This is the second loss in a row for Trinity Christian and nudges their season record down to 1-3. As for The Habersham School, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Trinity Christian will take on Alleluia Community at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for The Habersham School, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Islands at 6:00 p.m.
