Micah Spear Game Report: @ Creswell

Micah Spear turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than one earned runs surrendered on Tuesday. He kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 12 over seven innings pitched, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He also allowed no hits, which is notable because Cottage Grove is 2-0-1 when he allows at most one hit, but 1-3 otherwise.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Cottage Grove Lions duke it out with Glide Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The last time Spear duked it out with Glide (back in March of 2024), Cottage Grove came out on top by a score of 11-9. Will another strong game from Spear be enough to do it again?
