North Murray has gone 9-1 against Southeast Whitfield County recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The North Murray Mountaineers just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Southeast Whitfield County Raiders at 6:00 p.m. North Murray will be strutting in after a victory while Southeast Whitfield County will be coming in after a defeat.

On Friday, North Murray didn't have too much trouble with Sonoraville as they won 60-46. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mountaineers.

Meanwhile, Southeast Whitfield County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 39th straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt an 80-22 defeat at the hands of Allatoona. While losing is never fun, the Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 567th, while the Buccaneers are ranked 132nd).

Southeast Whitfield County's loss dropped their record down to 0-19. As for North Murray, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 10-9 record this season.

Everything came up roses for North Murray against Southeast Whitfield County in their previous matchup on January 4th, as the team secured a 75-34 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for North Murray since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
