Baseball Recap: Perkins-Tryon Comes Up Short

Perkins-Tryon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 10-0 to the Skiatook Bulldogs. The match marked the first time this season in which the Demons were not able to get on the board.

Perkins-Tryon saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nate Rains, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base.

Perkins-Tryon's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Skiatook, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 5-2.

While Perkins-Tryon had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
