Football Recap: Denver Falls to Wapsie Valley in First Game of Season

Denver kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell 28-21 to the Wapsie Valley Warriors. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

Looking ahead, Denver will be playing at home against Sumner-Fredericksburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Wapsie Valley, they are headed away from home for the first time to square off against East Buchanan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
