Football Recap: McDermitt Comes Up Short

McDermitt's last matchup with Eureka could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Saturday. The Bulldogs had to suffer through a 48-0 loss at the hands of the Vandals. The defeat continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Vandals: they've now lost six in a row.

McDermitt's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Eureka, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. McDermitt is set to square off against their familiar foe Coleville at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Eureka will take on rival Wells at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
