Soccer Recap: Sutter Comes Up Short

Sutter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 7-2 to the Woodland Wolves. While losing is never fun, the Huskies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 961st, while Wolves are ranked 74th).

Sutter's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Woodland, their win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-0-2.

Sutter has already played their next match (against Natomas), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Woodland will head out to challenge El Camino at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Woodland is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.8 goals per game this season.
