Basketball Recap: Rio Takes a Loss

Rio was the 53-44 winner over Valley Christian when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Rio Vikings took a hard 69-53 fall against the Valley Christian Warriors on Friday. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Rio's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Valley Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 3-11 record this season.

Rio has already played their next matchup, a 78-31 defeat against Pardeeville on the 4th. As for Valley Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 65-34 loss against Oakfield on the 4th.
