Basketball Recap: Mikayla Chambers' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Dwight over Aurora Central Catholic + How To Watch

If Dwight was feeling good fresh off their 58-20 takedown of Newark on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Trojans lost 60-34 to the Aurora Central Catholic Chargers on Wednesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Trojans of the 60-24 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2024.

Several Trojans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Mikayla Chambers, who posted 11 points. Addy Sulzberger was another key player, putting up nine points.

Dwight's record now sits at 1-1. As for Aurora Central Catholic, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Dwight didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 59-57 victory against Plano on the 20th. As for Aurora Central Catholic, they will be taking part in a tournament against Sandwich at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
