While Josh Giupponi delivered a dominant effort on Wednesday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Somers. Nobody could stop Giupponi as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances.
