McComb is 5-0 against Fort Jennings since January of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Saturday. The McComb Panthers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Fort Jennings Musketeers at 1:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (McComb has four straight victories, Fort Jennings has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Last Thursday, everything went McComb's way against Arcadia as McComb made off with a 54-33 win. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Fort Jennings had to suffer through a 55-24 loss at the hands of Wayne Trace. While losing is never fun, the Musketeers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 400th, while the Raiders are ranked 155th).

McComb's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.3 points per game. As for Fort Jennings, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.

McComb strolled past Fort Jennings in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 by a score of 65-47. Will McComb repeat their success, or does Fort Jennings have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
