Softball Recap: East Side Takes a Loss

After flying high against Shabazz on Tuesday, East Side came back down to earth. The Red Raiders came up short against the Harrison Blue Tide on Wednesday, falling 15-6. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Red Raiders of the 14-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2023.

East Side dropped their record down to 1-9 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. As for Harrison, with the victory, they broke their 13-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-13.

East Side wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 19-1 loss against Millburn on the 8th. As for Harrison, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 8-5 defeat against Hudson Catholic on the 8th.
