Basketball Recap: Elverado Takes a Loss

Elverado lost against Sesser-Valier/Waltonville back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Elverado Falcons were outmatched by the Sesser-Valier/Waltonville Red Devils and fell 74-16.

Elverado's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Sesser-Valier/Waltonville, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 20-5 record this season.

Elverado has already played their next game, a 42-34 win against Fulton City on the 8th. As for Sesser-Valier/Waltonville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 47-41 victory against Woodlawn on the 10th.
