Softball Game Preview: Bayside Commodores vs. Wagner Falcons

Bayside has won 14 straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Wagner has won 14 straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Thursday. The Commodores will welcome the Falcons at 4:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Monday, Bayside earned a 9-6 win over Lane. The Commodores haven't had any issues with the Knights recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Wagner made easy work of Grand Street Campus on Monday and carried off an 11-1 win. The Falcons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 games by seven runs or more this season.

Wagner has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.2 runs on average over those games. As for Bayside, their win bumped their record up to 13-0.
