Baseball Recap: E.E. Smith Comes Up Short on the Road Against Terry Sanford

E.E. Smith had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost 10-0 to the Terry Sanford Bulldogs. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it seven in a row.

Terry Sanford now has a winning record of 2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. E.E. Smith will welcome Seventy-First at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Seventy-First is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.5 runs per game this season. As for Terry Sanford, they will host New Hanover at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
