Football Recap: Middletown Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Middletown was the 32-6 winner over Coventry when they last played one another back in November of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Islanders were dealt a 35-6 loss at the hands of the Oakers on Saturday. The Islanders' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Middletown's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Coventry, their win bumped their record up to 3-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Middletown will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Pilgrim at 6:00 p.m. on the 13th. The Islanders will be up against the Patriots' rather soft defense (which has allowed 36.22 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Coventry, they will face off against Westerly at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
