Football Recap: Magnolia Wildcats vs. Pine Belt Spartans

The third road match was the charm for Magnolia, as they earned their first road win of the season. They breezed by the Pine Belt Spartans on the road to the tune of 44-14 on Saturday. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Wildcats just coasted through the last quarter.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Magnolia to victory, but perhaps none more so than Braeden Donaldson, who rushed for 67 yards and a touchdown, and also caught a touchdown. Donaldson was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 61 yards. Another player making a difference was Corey Magee, who gained 46 total yards and two touchdowns.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Magnolia's defense and their five sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Rylan Fuller and Magee, who racked up all five sacks between them.
