Barry County Christian lost to Martin on Friday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Eagles put the hurt on the Clippers with a sharp 14-6 victory.

Barry County Christian got a massive performance out of Teegen Whitmire, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most hits Whitmire has posted since back in April of 2024. Dawson Weemhoff was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.

Barry County Christian's win bumped their record up to 19-16. As for Martin, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Barry County Christian will face off against Kellogg at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Martin, they will square off against Marcellus at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Clippers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wildcats have averaged an impressive 9.5 runs per game this season.
