Basketball Recap: Watonga's Luck Changes for the Better on Monday

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Oklahoma Christian Academy, Watonga was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They came out on top against the Seiling Wildcats by a score of 58-48. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Eagles considering their 30-point performance the match before.

Watonga moved to 5-13 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Seiling, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-13.

Watonga wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 63-44 victory against Pioneer-Pleasant Vale on the 28th. As for Seiling, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 65-40 loss against Vici on the 28th.
