Volleyball Preview: Johnson Panthers vs. Laney Wildcats        
        
		
             Johnson is 10-0 against Laney since September of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Tuesday. After both having extra time off,  the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and  face off against  one another  at 5:00  p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Johnson has 11 straight  wins, Laney has seven straight  losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.
 Last Tuesday,  everything went Johnson's way against Westside as Johnson made off with  a  3-0 victory. The  contest marked the Panthers' most dominant  win of the season.
 While Johnson won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the  second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-17,  26-24.
 Meanwhile, Laney came up short against Davidson Fine Arts last Thursday and fell  2-0.
 The final score came out to 25-14,  25-17.
 Johnson pushed their record up to 11-2 with the  victory, which was their sixth straight  on the road. As for Laney, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-8.
 Johnson beat Laney 2-0  in their previous matchup  on September 5th. Will Johnson repeat their success,  or does  Laney have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
